Approvals - Include Conditional Step Formula
A conditional formula can be used instead of making an entirely different process by making use of a conditional formula on that step.
As an example, you could use a formula to not have an approver if the transaction date is more than a week old using a true or false formula such as: {trandate} < sysdate - 7. That can be flipped so that an approver is included if the transaction date is greater than a week old: {trandate} > sysdate - 7.
