NetLease - AI Upload Lease Abstraction Tool

Create New Lease with AI Upload Tool

Use Case: To automate the creation of a new lease based on the lease contract using ChatGPT. Disclaimer: This tool is not perfect, and client review is strongly advised. 

Prerequisite: Make sure the System Feature, AI Upload, is checked

Step By Step Process:

  • Select NetLease > Lease Management > New Lease
    • A blank NetLease Lease appears from which you can create a new lease

 

  • Select AI Upload to upload contract

  • Select Choose File to select contract

  • Once contract is chosen select Upload

  • The contract will appear on the left side of your NetSuite window. Each lease term will be highlighted in different colors and the corresponding information will populate your new NetLease lease.
  • Review the information that the AI Upload tool pulled in.
  • Add in any remaining information (i.e. Discount Rate).
  • Click Submit to save the newly created lease.
  • The contract PDF will automatically be saved on the lease record.

Data Security

This feature, powered by the Open AI GPT API, provides users with an instant analysis of their account activity and does it with a deep respect for data privacy. Here are some key points to summarize how we are accomplishing this in a secure manner. As of March 1, 2023, Open AI has made crucial changes to its data usage and retention policies to enhance data security. This new policy ensures that no data submitted by NetLease via the API will be used to train or improve Open AI's models unless you, the user, explicitly opt to share your data. In essence, Open AI now operates on an opt-in policy regarding data sharing for model improvement, reinforcing your control over your data. No prompts sent via NetLease will be “opted in”.  Furthermore, the Open AI API will retain data sent via the API for a maximum of 30 days, solely for the purpose of monitoring misuse or abuse. After this period, unless mandated by legal requirements, the data will be deleted, ensuring that your data doesn't linger indefinitely in the system. It's also important to note that only a select group of authorized Open AI employees and specialized third-party contractors bound by confidentiality and security obligations can access this data for misuse investigation.
