Overview

This article provides the steps to add a new SuperSync Files connection to your SharePoint. Follow the instructions below to successfully configure the connection.

Steps to Add a New SuperSync Files Connection

1. Navigate to SuperSync Files Configuration

  1. Go to your NetSuite ribbon.
  2. Select "SuperSync Files".
  3. Select "Configs" > "Connections" > "New".

2. Populate Connection Details

A new window will appear with several fields that need to be populated.

Field Details:

  • Name: Enter the name of this connection record.
  • Files Tab Name: This field determines the name of the tab in transaction and entity records. It is populated with "SuperSync Files" by default, but many customers rename it to "Files" for simplicity.
  • Document Connection: Select "Microsoft SharePoint" from the dropdown menu. This specifies the document connector type SuperSync Files will be used for the connection.
  • Permissions: The default role allows all users to have access to the tab and the permissions listed. Click "Add" to finalize the permissions. You can adjust the permissions or create additional permissions based on roles.

3. Save Initial Configuration

  1. Once the fields are populated and at least one permission has been added, click "Save".
  2. When the page refreshes, the initial record will be created, and additional fields will become available in the configuration.
  3. Click "Edit" to continue the configuration.

4. Configure SharePoint Connection

  1. In the record subtab ribbon, click on "Microsoft" to pull up the SharePoint configurations.
  2. A new subtab will open with additional fields.

SharePoint Configuration Fields:

  • Microsoft Tenant ID: Enter your Entra Tenant ID. Refer to this Microsoft article to find your Tenant ID.
  • SharePoint Site Domain: Enter the Site Domain within your SharePoint where the files will be saved. This is typically formatted as https://[company].Sharepoint.com/.
  • SharePoint Site Path: Enter the URL where the files will go. This is typically formatted as Sites/[Sitepath]/.
  • SharePoint Base Folder Path: Enter the final folder destination where all files saved using SuperSync Files will reside. This is typically formatted as Share Documents/.

Example: For a folder URL https://testcompany.sharepoint.com/sites/testsite/sharedocuments/:

  • Site Domain: https://testcompany.sharepoint.com
  • Site Path: sites/testsite/
  • Base Folder Path: share documents/

5. Finalize Configuration

  1. Once these fields are completed, click "Save" and return to the "Microsoft" subtab.
  2. You will find the "Microsoft Admin Consent Link" populated with a URL that starts with https://login.microsoftonline.com/....
  3. Pass this link to your Microsoft Admin to provide the bundle SharePoint access.

6. Completion

The connection is now complete. If you are having trouble with the connection, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
