Create New Custom Payment Types
NetLoan can create custom payment types beyond those that come out of the box. To add a custom payment type, navigate to NetLoan > NetLoan Setup > Manage Payment Types:
Here, you will see the listing of payment types that come as part of the NetLoan bundle. To create a new payment type, click "New NetLoan Payment Type":
Reference the articles linked in the below table to fill in the desired sections to unlock the features you need your new payment type to utilize:
Note that the only required section is the Primary Information section. The remainder are optional but may be necessary to accommodate the desired functionality.
Payment Type Selections

Billing Information | Billing options that determine the item shown on invoices for these payments (only used by specific payment types) | Billing Information Setup |

Once you complete the form, click "Save".
You can now use the new Payment Type when adding payments to loans directly on the loan record, in the modification page, or via an upload/API.
