NetLessor - Creating a NetLessor Dashboard
Overview
Dashboards in NetSuite display a collection of real-time data customizable to customer preferences.
STEP BY STEP PROCESS – INITIAL SETUP
- Select the NetLessor Center Tab to open the dashboard.
- Select Edit Custom Tab.
- Select Portlets and add the portlets that you would like to display.
- Select Audience to specify individuals who should be given access to the Custom Dashboard.
- Click Save.
STEP BY STEP PROCESS – EDIT CUSTOM TAB
- Select the NetLessor Center Tab to open the dashboard.
- Portlets added during the initial setup will appear on the dashboard. Additionally, you can see these portlets by selecting Personalize.
- Below are recommendations of portlets that may be desired on the NetLessor dashboard:
- Shortcuts - show links to commonly used pages:
- To create a new Shortcut, select the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the portlet and select New Shortcut.
- Enter the URL and desired name to appear in the list.
- Examples of desired shortcuts may be Create New Leases, Process Monthly Journal Entries, Mass Lease Schedule Generation, Reports, or Netgain Knowledge Base.
- To create a new Shortcut, select the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the portlet and select New Shortcut.
- Reminders - show numerical count from selected saved searches:
- To create a new Reminder, select the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the portlet and select Set Up.
- Search for desired saved searches to add to the reminder portlet.
- If a desired saved search is not present in the list, navigate to that search and edit the Available for Reminders checkbox.
- An example of a desired reminder might be NetLessor Leases Ending Within 90 Days.
- Custom Search - shows data from selected saved searches:
- To create a new Custom Search display, select the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the portlet and select Set Up.
- Search for the desired saved search and title the portlet to reflect the search.
- Examples of desired custom searches might include NetLessor Lease Netgain Preferred Lease List or NetLessor Leases Ending Within 90 Days.
- To create a new Custom Search display, select the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the portlet and select Set Up.
- Recent Records - shows the twelve most recently viewed records.
- This portlet is not editable or customizable.
- Shortcuts - show links to commonly used pages:
- After all the desired portlets have been added and edited, the dashboard will look like something similar to the screenshot below for the selected audience:
