SSEO - "Attachments failed to upload" Error After NetSuite 2025.1 Update

Issue Description:

After the NetSuite 2025.1 update, you may encounter a "Attachments failed to upload" error in SuperSync Email. This occurs because NetSuite now restricts access to the native attachment folder in the File Cabinet exclusively to administrators. Non-admin custom roles, previously able to access this folder, will now experience failures when attachments attempt to save here.

Root Cause:

NetSuite's 2025.1 update restricts the native attachment folder access exclusively to the administrator role. Custom roles, including those assigned to SuperSync Email, no longer have permission to write or access this folder.

Resolution Steps:

Update the SuperSync Attachment Folder:

  • Navigate to the existing SuperSync Email Folder in the File Cabinet.
  • Edit the folder settings and change its Parent Folder from the current Attachment Folder to the root of the File Cabinet.

Additional Notes:

  • Ensure your custom roles have appropriate permissions set for the new attachment folder.

  • Confirm attachment functionality after updating settings by performing a test.

If issues persist after following these steps, please contact support at supersync@netgain.tech for further assistance.
