Approvals - Setup Rule to Trigger Approval Process by Class

Overview 

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to trigger approval processes using a rule based on class using Netgain Approvals. Multiple rules can be defined for an approval process, and if any of the conditions for these rules are met, the approval process will be triggered automatically for the transaction.

Prerequisites: Have purchased and installed the Netgain Approvals bundle and have NetSuite admin access.

Step by Step Process 

1. In the top right corner, navigate to ... > Approvals > Configs and select Approval Processes. View full size

3. Select Rules. View full size
4. Select Edit or New Approval Rule. View full size
5. Select Name and enter a name for the Approval Rule. View full size
6. (Optional) Select Rule Description and enter a description to describe the rule. View full size
7. Select Class. View full size
8. Check the Match Class box. View full size
9. Select Save.
