NetAsset - Untagged G/L Transactions
Purpose
The Untagged G/L Transactions report provides details of impacts to fixed asset and accumulated depreciation accounts that have no line-level asset tag. In most cases, the user would expect this report to be blank. If transactions appear, this will indicate a transaction needs to be tagged to an asset.
How To
Navigation:
NetAsset > Reports (All or GL & Recon) > Untagged G/L Transactions > Run
Filtering:
The report search can be narrowed down by adjusting the filters for account, period, date, subsidiary, department, class, location, or style. The report will automatically update as filtering options are selected.
Results
Upon running the report the user will see a summarized report of impacts to fixed asset and accumulated depreciation accounts that have no line-level asset tag (if applicable). Select the export button to download the report into Excel.
Troubleshooting
1. If desired transactions do not appear in the report, check the selected filters to ensure assets are not being restricted from view.
2. The report presents transactions that have not been tagged to a NetAsset Asset, if the transaction has been tagged to an asset it will not appear in the report.
