NetAsset - Create a Stand-Alone Asset
CREATE A STAND-ALONE ASSET
Use Case: A new asset needs to be created that cannot be linked to any proposal transaction in NetSuite.
STEP BY STEP PROCESS
- Navigate to NetAsset > Create New Assets > Create Asset
- Fill out all the required fields referenced in the Asset Fields section and save the asset.
- In order to review an existing asset, you can select the List button on the top right to search for or select an existing asset record.
NOTE: Standalone assets will credit the clearing account just like any other asset when placed into service. Make certain you understand the implications of creating an asset in this manner.
