SSEO - Accessing the SuperSync Email Add-in Across Outlook Clients


The SuperSync Email for NetSuite add-in is accessible across multiple Outlook clients, including the New Outlook Desktop Client for both Windows and macOS, the classic Desktop Client, the Outlook Web App (OWA), and even the Outlook Mobile App. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to locate and use the add-in on each platform.

1. New Outlook Desktop Client (Windows)

To access the SuperSync Email add-in in the new Outlook Desktop Client for Windows, follow these steps:

  1. Open an email you wish to sync with NetSuite.
  2. Select "SuperSync Email for NetSuite" from the menu options. 

2. New Outlook Desktop Client (macOS)

For the macOS version of the new Outlook Desktop Client:

  1. Open an email to sync.
  2. Click on the three dots (ellipses) located at the top of the menu.
  3. Select "SuperSync Email for NetSuite" from the menu options.

3. Classic Outlook Desktop Client (Windows/macOS)

If you're using the classic version of the Outlook Desktop Client:

  1. Go to the "Home" menu on the ribbon.
  2. Find the app under the Home Ribbon.
  3. Click on the SuperSync Email Icon to start syncing emails to NetSuite.

4. Outlook Web App (OWA)

For users accessing their emails through OWA (Outlook Web App):

  1. Open an email that you wish to log in NetSuite.
  2. Click on the SuperSync Icon located in the upper right corner of the email window.

5. Outlook Mobile App

For many customers, the ability to log emails on-the-go is a huge convenience. You can use the SuperSync Email add-in on the Outlook Mobile App in the same way you would on a desktop.

  1. Ensure the SuperSync Email add-in is installed on your desktop Outlook, as Microsoft will "sync" the add-in from desktop to mobile.
  2. Open an email in the Outlook Mobile App.
  3. Open the email you want to log to NetSuite.
  4. Click on the "Apps" icon on the lower right
  5. Select the SuperSync icon to bring up the add-in
    • If this is your first time opening this menu, the SuperSync Email icon may not appear due to a known Microsoft bug. If this occurs, simply close the app and restart it.
