Shared Transactions Release Notes 06/25/25
Shared Transaction Updates
Preventing tax allocation on Shared Transaction Header templates
A new field called “Shared Transaction Ignore Tax Lines” was added to the custom tab. This field will prevent Shared Transactions from allocating tax lines when a Shared Transaction template is applied to the entire transaction using the header fields.
Default Intercompany Line Value
A new field called “Default Intercompany Line Value” has been added to the Advanced Configuration subtab of each Shared Transaction Sourcing Record. This value is used to override what value would have been used for each transaction column on the allocated Intercompany payable or receivable line.
Not for Profit Sourcing
The update enables users to source NFP segments using the Shared Transaction worksheet and templates.

Support for Markup Items
Intercompany invoices that include markup items will now be reflected in the total expense amount on the automatically generated intercompany invoice. The impact of the markup item on the invoice will always apply to the item right above it.
Automating Payments
- When a payment is created from an intercompany vendor bill, a corresponding customer payment will now be created and applied to the relevant intercompany invoice.
Shared Payments
(Available for an additional price, please speak to your Account Manager if interested)
Shared Payments for Invoices and Bills
Shared Transactions now includes a new add-on feature called Shared Payments. Shared Payments allows companies to receive a bill or invoice in one subsidiary and to pay or receive cash out of another subsidiary.
Script Deployment
Record Applicability
Netgain Tools’ Transaction UE script was updated from Applies To: All Records to Applies To: Specific Records. This will result in Netgain tools only impacting transaction types that are relevant to Netgain tools. To prevent Netgain tools from applying to a specific transaction type, please undeploy the specific deployment rather than deleting it. A deleted deployment will be recreated next time the Netgain tools account is updated.
