NetAsset - Maintenance Management: Case Rules
Overview
Case Rules are an essential component of the maintenance module in NetAsset. They allow users to:
- Specify the source record (e.g., NetAsset, NetRental) to which the case rule applies.
- Filter the type of records the case rule affects.
- Assign a case template for generating new cases.
- Define events (such as usage-based or time-based triggers) that will initiate the creation of new cases.
Case rules, when combined with case templates and case events, automate the creation of maintenance cases for assets or rentals, ensuring consistency in processes and documentation related to asset maintenance.
