NETASSET VERSION 2021.1 KEY UPDATES

• Reporting Refresh
  • All Netgain prepared reports are now available from the main menu (NetAsset > Reports > All Reports)
    • Ability to mark preferred reports as "Favorites" for easy access
    • Scripted reporting enhancements
      • Multi-select filtering
      • Display currency symbol toggle
      • Summary exports
• Partial Disposals
  • Allows user to dispose part of an asset (by cost or quantity) and continue to depreciate what remains
• On-Hold Status
  • Allows users to temporarily pause depreciation and place back in-service at the desired date 
• Intercompany Transfer Updates
  • Separate Intercompany Payable and Intercompany Receivable Accounts
  • Support for auto-eliminations via Intercompany Customer/Vendor
• Apply Custom Transaction Sourcing By Asset Type, Subsidiary, and/or Account
  • Allows users to customize the sourcing of certain fields upon transaction posting (capitalization, depreciation, etc.) to fire only for certain asset types, subsidiaries, or the specific account being hit

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

• Ensure bundle is installed with ample time available before the next close as cutover scripts running to update fields on the schedule entry may take several hours
• Your NetSuite Administrator should update your NetLease bundle (Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > List)
• Make sure the "NetAsset Saved Report" record has a "Preference" of "Merge Data" (may read as "NetAsset Report" if bundle has already been updated)
• Update the preferred form on the NetAsset Asset record to hide unused new fields from the release
