Punchout for NetSuite - Name New Items With Part Number

Overview

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to automatically name new items with only the part number when Create New Item is being used for item handling Punchout for NetSuite.

NOTE - Create New Item must be selected from the Supplier Code Not Matched dropdown for this to function.

Prerequisites: Must be logged in as an administrator in the NetSuite account.

Step by Step Process

1. Navigate to Punchout > Punchout Configs and select Vendor Tiles Configs. View full size
2. Select Edit. View full size
3. Select the Advanced sub-tab. View full size
4. Check the Name Items with Part Number Only box. View full size
5. Select Save. View full size
