Punchout for NetSuite - Use Custom Location Field Shipping Address

Overview

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to allow the use of a custom location field on the transaction in NetSuite for punchout orders when using Punchout for NetSuite. To use the ship-to address of a location indicated by a custom location field on the transaction, set the string ID of a field on the transaction level.

NOTE - This only works if the custom location ship-to handling is selected and in this case the ship-to select field on the transaction will be totally ignored and only the custom location address will be used.

Prerequisites: Must be logged in as an administrator in the NetSuite account.

Step by Step Process

1. Navigate to Punchout > Punchout Configs and select Vendor Tiles Configs. View full size

3. Select the Advanced sub-tab. View full size
4. Select Use Custom Location Field Shipping Address from the Ship to Handling dropdown. View full size
5. Navigate to Ship to Custom Location Field and enter the internal ID of the custom field that should be used for the shipping location.
