NetClose - Review and Approve Close Tasks

Prerequisites

Close task have been generated, started, and are now ready to be submitted for review.

Assigning a Reviewer
A task cannot be submitted for review unless it has a reviewer assigned to it. The only way to assign a reviewer to a task is by updating the task template itself. If no reviewer was assigned, the task will be marked as completed once finished without going through the review process.

How to Submit a Task for Review

There are two ways you can navigate to a list of your generated tasks:

  1. To open a list of your generated tasks for this period: NetClose > Tasks > Prepare Close Tasks
  2. To open the Task Board: NetClose > Tasks > Open Task Board

Click into the task to open it up and click the buttons to progress the task as applicable:

Mark BlockedClick this to change the status to Stuck. Use this to flag tasks that have problems.
Mark CompleteClick this to change the status to Complete
Submit for ReviewThis option will show when the task has a reviewer specified. Click this to change the status to Submitted for Review. The task will then show on the Review Task list.
RestartClick this to reset the task status to Not Started and remove all comments and start and completed dates.


How to Review Close Tasks

Tasks with a reviewer specified will show in the Review Task list after the preparer submits for review. Navigate to NetClose > Tasks > Review Close Tasks. The list will automatically be filtered to the current period and user as the approver. The list can be filtered as needed.

Click the Plus Sign next to the task to open the details. Click the buttons to progress the task as applicable:

Send Back for EditsClick this to change the status to Sent Back for Edits. The task will show in the Prepare Task List for the preparer. The preparer can then resubmit the task for review.
ApproveClick this to approve the task and change the status to Complete.
RestartClick this to reset the task status to Not Started and remove all comments and start and completed dates. The task will show in the Prepare Task List for the preparer.
