NetClose - Lock Transactions & Account Segments
A very attractive feature of NetClose is the ability to Lock Transactions and Account Segments straight from the module. Users will be able to filter by Accounting Period, toggle lock by Subsidiary, Transaction Type, User, NetSuite Role, Class, Department, and Location.
Step by Step
Navigate to NetClose > Close Management > Lock Transactions & Account Segments.
Steps Subtab
After filtering the Accounting Period, and checking a user's desired Subsidiary, Transaction Type, User, and/or Role; the user can lock in the changes by pressing the Save button at the top of the page.
Auto Posting in Next Period
If you have decided to use the Lock Function, NetClose has a feature where you can push transaction to automatically post into the next open period. This can be toggled on and off within the NetClose System Setup.
