NetAsset - Disposal Reversal

Use Case: An asset disposal has been made erroneously and needs to be reversed.

Full Disposal Reversal

Step By Step Process:

  • Navigate to  NetAsset > View Asset Registers > Disposal Register and find asset record that needs to reverse a disposal
  • Open the asset in View mode 
  • Click the Reverse Disposal button and confirm your intent to reverse the disposal

  • The Processing Status will be updated to read Processing Disposal Reversal. Refresh the page periodically until the Processing Status is blank.

  • Once complete, the schedule will be returned back to the state it was in prior to the disposal
  • The NetAsset Disposal record will be marked as Reversed and remain on the asset's Disposal subtab to maintain the historical data.

Partial Disposal Reversal

Step By Step Process:

  • Navigate to NetAsset > View Asset Registers > Disposal Register and find the disposal to reverse
  • Open the disposal to reverse in View mode 
  • Click the Reverse Disposal button and confirm your intent to reverse the disposal

  • You will be navigated back to the asset record page with the Processing Status updated to read Processing Disposal Reversal. Refresh the page periodically until the Processing Status is blank.

  • Once complete, the schedule will be returned back to the state it was in prior to the disposal
  • The NetAsset Disposal record will be marked as Reversed and remain on the asset's Disposal subtab to maintain the historical data.
