NetLease - Sandbox Reports Redirecting to Production
Overview
A system issue may cause reports to redirect from the Sandbox environment to the Production account when the Run button is selected. This issue often occurs after a NetSuite Sandbox refresh, when report preview links from Production are copied directly into Sandbox.
Newer bundle versions include a scheduled script that automatically updates report links periodically. If the automated fix has not yet resolved the issue, manual workarounds are available.
Step-by-Step Process
Manual Workaround
- Navigate to NetLease > Reports > All Reports.
- Find the desired report and click View instead of Run:
- On the NetLease Report record that follows, click Preview Report (or Run Search depending on the report):
The report will execute within the Sandbox environment without redirecting to Production.
Note: Updating the bundle in Sandbox can prevent this issue from recurring. Newer bundle versions include a scheduled script that automatically corrects report links periodically.
