Netgain products - Navigating NetSuite Next
Overview
NetSuite Next is Oracle's redesigned NetSuite experience. It includes updated navigation, records, lists, and reports, and it adds Ask Oracle, an AI assistant. It uses the same data, customizations, and workflows as the classic experience, so switching does not change your transactions or configuration.
Oracle began rolling out NetSuite Next with NetSuite 2026.2. Availability is phased by account and role, so it may not be available in your account yet. When your account is eligible, NetSuite shows an in-app notification, and your NetSuite administrator must make it available to your role. Switching between experiences
To switch, hover over your user name and role and click Switch to NetSuite Next.
To switch back, open your profile menu and click Exit NetSuite Next. Some roles do not have the exit option. If yours does not, contact your NetSuite administrator.
Impact on Netgain products
You can expect all Netgain products to operate as usual in NetSuite Next. We've performed testing to ensure that our pages and workflows render and behave the same as in the classic experience. You do not need to update your SuiteApp or change any settings. For any questions or to report an issue, please contact Netgain Support.
Find Netgain products in NetSuite Next
NetSuite Next changes where menus and search live, but not where your Netgain pages are. Use either method below.
Use the NetSuite Next menu
- Select the menu icon in the bottom left corner.
- Scroll down to see each Netgain product in your account with its corresponding menu options.
Use search
- Click the search field on the menu popup and type the product or page name, for example "Asset Register" or "NetClose Task List".
- Select the result.

Bookmark pages you use often
Add the pages you open daily to your shortcuts in NetSuite, so you do not need to access the menu or search each time. See NetSuite Applications Suite - Shortcuts Portlet.
Navigate within a Netgain product
Each Netgain product has a left sidebar that works the same way in NetSuite Next as in the classic experience. Use it to move between the product's pages without going back to the NetSuite menu.
Use the NetSuite Next menu or search field to get into a product, then use the product sidebar to move between its pages.
